“Wintertime Bliss”
The old ones say that a big snow is in the air.
A time when they are wrong is truly rare.
By morning, snow will coat every dale and hill.
A picture postcard, so quiet and still.
The snow-covered ground, pristine and white,
A winter-time playground for kiddy delight.
Children’s eyes will light up at thoughts of fun in the snow,
Of racing sleds downhill to see how fast they can go.
There are snowmen to build and snow forts to make,
And maybe even ice skating on a frozen lake.
Wintertime bliss is what it will be
When snow and ice cover all you see.
